Mechelle LaVelle, the founder of LP, has focused a majority of her work on projects that have explored the patient/ physician relationship. Through her work, she has learned that without quality communication between the patient and physician, true healing cannot be achieved. LP, under Mechelle’s direction, aims to reduce the mystery and stigma of the healthcare system by unmasking its inner workings and reintroducing patients to physicians and to the latest advancements in medicine. This method of marketing a healthcare entity serves to connect the entity to its customer base (its patients, its physicians, and its community) by returning the focus to the basics: caring for the individual.
